Chava Orozco
Chava Orozco is a Mexican chef with a passion for seafood and Pacific cuisine. Originally from Guamúchil, Sinaloa, and raised in Huatulco, Oaxaca, he developed a deep bond with the sea and its ingredients from an early age. With more than a decade of experience in gastronomy, he launched his own concept, Mi Compa Chava, during the pandemic. What started as a dark kitchen quickly became one of the most acclaimed seafood restaurants in Mexico City, standing out for its freshness, authenticity and relaxed ambiance reminiscent of traditional seafood carts.
Today, Chava Orozco is a reference in the Mexican gastronomic scene, recognized for his ability to transform fresh ingredients from the sea into dishes full of flavor and tradition. His cuisine is a tribute to responsible fishing and coastal recipes, fusing classic techniques with an innovative touch. His passion for gastronomy and commitment to quality have made him an ambassador for Pacific seafood, bringing his love for the sea to every dish he creates.
