Introducing the first safari in Mexico.
Yucatan Jungle Safari by Akampa x Viatura Unseen Escapes is not just a journey; it is an immersion into the beating heart of Mayan nature and culture. Inspired by the poetry and evocative narrative of Eduardo Galeano in his work "Memory of Fire", we want the traveler to experience a deep connection with history, nature and himself.
During the expedition, we will sleep at the spectacular Viatura Hacienda Xtojil camp - which is the first African-style camp in Mexico. We will go to the Ria Lagartos reserve to observe flamingos, crocodiles and all kinds of birds. We will sleep in an ecological reserve in a camp designed in collaboration with The North Face. The North Face. This reserve works with jaguars, where there is a large population of this species; and finally, we will kayak in a lagoon surrounded by monkeys.
